trip to the lake: clarksville photographer

The weekend we traveled to Chase City for Tim & Ashley's   MacCallum More Gardens Wedding, we were luckily enough to have enough warm sunshine to take Emmie to the lake to go swimming! She had a blast and was more than begging us to go in with her. Luckily, her pleading won out on Daddy, and he spent some time with her in the water, while Momma happily sat in the sand and sunshine snapping photos!

My littlest assistant

Great news! I've hired a new assistant- and she doesn't charge much! Just the never-ending supply of orange-juice, dresses, boo-boo kisses, and if it was up to her, ice cream! ;) Yes, you've guessed it- Emmie! This little cutie was SO excited that her & daddy got to come to a wedding I photographed! (View Tim & Ashley's wedding day here!) 

I also brought along one of my older cameras, and let Emmie take a few photos of the wedding day! As you can tell, she was THRILLED to be helping! 

I was a little nervous that she was going to get in my way, but she really did amazing! It helped that Michael, and other family and friends fed her, played with her, and danced with her! 

And of course, I got in some of the action!
