Lynchburg, VA Wedding Photographer: Jim & Jenn's Trivium Estates Wedding

I am so in love with this beautiful Trivium Estates Wedding! Jim & Jennifer are so adorable- and we had the best time at their relaxed and laid-back Friday wedding! These two were so calm, I think we started annoying them by asking them if they needed anything! ;) That's what a good wedding planner (ahem, Heidi at the Trivium) and an organized couple will get you!! 

Everything about their wedding was gorgeous- from Jenn's dress- her unique bouquet (complete with decorative kale!!), her ahhhh-mazing shoes (no, seriously- wait till you see them!), their beer loving hand-made bar, to their awesome friends & family surrounding them to celebrate their big day! 

(what did I tell you about those SHOESSSSS!!?!?! Jenn- I'm stealing these!!!) 

Jim & Jenn opted for a First Look- and it was so adorable! I love seeing these guys and their amazing reactions to seeing their brides for the first time!!! 

Jim & Jennifer choose to have their ceremony out at the Arbor at The Trivium- with the GORGEOUS views overlooking the mountains!! 

The Trivium has this AMAZING car- so we of course had to get photos with it! It's absolutely GORGEOUS!

The craziness that is October! Lynchburg, Virginia Wedding & Portrait Photographer

Phew guys- what an exhausting month it has been! Exhausting but oh my goodness so much fun! This month alone I have traveled to: Charleston- South Carolina,  The Wintergreen Resort in Virginia,  Hartford/Wethersfield in Connecticut, Forest/Bedford County in Virginia, Winchester, in Virginia, and back to Lynchburg.

Brian & Alexa (Part 2)

Welcome back! I'm so glad you're here to see the rest of Brian & Alexa's beautiful Webb Barn in Wethersfield, Connecticut Wedding! We left off with seeing the photos from them getting ready, their first look, and some with their beautiful Bridal Party! 

So, let's jump right into the rest of the night! The BEAUTIFUL & intimate ceremony, photos with their friends & family, and then a few more photos at sunset before their super FUN reception!! These guys know how to have a good time!! 

The Reception was held at the BEAUTIFUL Webb Barn in Wethersfield! Oh I looooooved this place! <3 

Now THIS is a wedding cake after my own heart! ;) I actually don't like cake- even though I try it at every wedding! But Brian & Alexa had a PIE BAR- with every type of cake you could image! It was adorable!! 

Now, onto the FUN! And man, was their reception just so much fun!! 

Brian & Alexa- Thank you guys SO much for the honor of photographing your wedding day! I really had such a great time, and so enjoyed your wedding day! I love traveling so much, and am so thankful you guys gave me the opportunity to visit your beautiful state (even though it is freeeeeeeezing there!!) It was such an honor to be there for your big day!! Congratulations again!!

Brian & Alexa (Part I): Wethersfield, Connecticut Wedding Photographer

Ohhhh this wedding! <3 It's SO beautiful- I have to split up the blog post into two sections! Brian & Alexa are SO cute- and goodness we had so much fun on their wedding day! It may have been a difficult journey for me to actually arrive there (think airport layover. cinnabun. food poisoning. paramedics wheeling me off the plane.... haha more on this story later!) and I wasn't expected the freeeeeeezing temps, but any excuse to get in a little shopping, right?! haha

Brian & Alexa got married on a suppppppppeer chilly day in Wethersfield, Connecticut- at the beautiful Webb Barn! They had an intimate ceremony outside under this gorgeous tree, and then cocktail hour and the reception inside the barn! 

They did a first look (yay!) and oh my goodness, Brian's reaction was so priceless- it made me so so so glad for them that they took a moment to have together and celebrate before everything got crazy! Because we did a first look, we were able to get a ton of the bride & groom portraits out of the way, and the wedding party photos as well! Then everyone was able to enjoy cocktail hour and just overall have a blast! 

Oh my goodness!!! This is one of my very favorite first look photos ever! I loooooove his expression so much- and I am so so glad Brian & Alexa got to experience these emotions one-on-one!! 

Because we did a first look, we got to spend a lot of time together, getting lots of bride & groom photos- so they could enjoy their cocktail party with their guests! 

They had the most amazing Wedding Party- these poor girls were FREEZING- but they were troopers! I looooooove the colors- the grays and purples! <3 SO beautiful!

lynchburg, virginia wedding photographer: edward & elizabeth's west manor estate wedding

It has been a SOGGY weekend in Virginia, but that didn't ruin our fun! I am so excited to share photos from Edward & Elizabeth's West Manor Estate wedding from Saturday!! 

Thank goodness West Manor has a back-up rain option, and it is honestly such a beautiful setting! Their glass atrium is gorgeous and was the perfect back-drop for Edward & Elizabeth's romantic wedding day!! Their florists did an AMAZING job decorating the atrium- I LOVED the petals!! Everything about this wedding was gorgeous- and we had such a great time & most importantly got some awesome pictures- despite the rain!! In fact, some of my favorites to date!! 

Edward & Elizabeth had such a sweet 'no peek' moment before their ceremony began! They each wrote a letter and they read it with each other! Oh the sweet emotions!! 

They were such troopers and we headed outside for some romantic Bride & Groom Photos! 

I am OBSESSSSSSSED with this photo! It's so beautiful! I swear it rained JUST for this shot!!
