This blog post is a little bittersweet, as this is my last Wedding Wednesday for the year! That's right guys... I shot my last wedding of 2016 this weekend! While I am sad that the season is over, I am very excited to be welcoming some down time for rest and family time! 

Macklin & Shannon's Craddock Terry wedding day was the perfect way to end my wedding season! These two are so perfect together, they are such a fun and sweet couple, I LOVED getting to know them both so so much over the last year! Shannon made such a gorgeous bride, and her colors and fall decorations were so perfect! Their day was filled with so many emotions, to their tear-filled no-peek, their hugs to parents, emotional vows, and the parent dances, these two had me wiping my eyes the entire day! 

A HUGE thank you to the amazing vendors that made this wedding so amazing!!

Lynchburg, Virginia Wedding & Portrait Photographer: Edward & Elizabeth

Man! Has it been a hoooooooottt July here in Lynchburg, Virginia or what? No- don't take that as complaining- I LOVE summer! But it sure can make photo sessions difficult when you have to take mini breaks to sit in the AC or grab a cup of iced tea!! 

Edward & Elizabeth were such troopers at our downtown Lynchburg, VA engagement shoot! We met down at Percival's Isle  and walked some beautiful trails, and even headed down to the water front out there before we walked around downtown Lynchburg! There's such an abundance of amazing photo locations- cool old buildings, and old churches! Oh man- the churches!! Poor Edward had to wear jeans and it was still 90 degrees when we met up at 6:30pm!! 

These two are SO adorable- editing through their engagement photos makes me SO excited for their wedding day this Fall!! YAY!

Jim & Jennifer: Lynchburg, Virginia

I am so excited for Jim & Jennifer's wedding. They are getting married this Fall at The Trivium Estates,  in Lynchburg, Virginia.  They are such a fun couple, have an adorable dog, they love to dress up ;) and they are super laid back.  Jim & Jennifer live out of town, but grew up in the Lynchburg area and drove out for their session. About an hour before we were meeting for their session, it started POURING- thundering, and lightening.  So awful!  Jennifer texted me and said they were on their way, but she wished she brought her rain boots! Luckily, she's the same size as me and I grabbed my pair on the way out the door! 

We had a few minutes of sprinkles, and then it turned into a gorgeous evening, and it even cooled down the 90 degree day! They brought their adorable pup, Bijou along with them and we had so much fun! We met at Percival's Isle and then headed to downtown Lynchburg, for a few more shots, and ended the evening over dinner at Waterstone Pizza. yum!
