Cody & Caitlin's Sundara Wedding

Sundara Wedding Venue in Boones Mill, Virginia

I think I can officially say that fall is here! After Cody & Caitlin’s wedding this weekend, the leaves are turning in Central Virginia and I’m excited for the beauty that comes with it! (Got to find the positive to the impending cold weather!!) Cody & Caitlin got married at the GORGEOUS Sundara wedding venue in Boones mill, Virginia and WOW WOW WOW you guys- this place is STUNNING! Everywhere you look, every corner in the house, on the grounds, is beyond picture worthy! I could have taken photos of these two all day!

When I tell you that Cody & Caitlin’s wedding day was perfect, I mean it was PERFECT. The best weather, sweetest wedding party and family, everything ran on time, the caterers even had a plate of dairy free food for me!! (Can you tell I’m excited?! I was STOKED to have a warm, yummy meal that was allergy friendly over my PB&J from home haha!)

Their ceremony was just so beautiful! Under a gorgeous oak tree, overlooking open fields and mountains and then their reception was in the event tent and was just so beautiful! I am beyond excited to share photos from their day, so enough babbling!!

Johnny & Ashton's Murray Hill Wedding || Leesburg, VA Wedding Photographer

Johnny & Ashton's Wedding was the perfect day of celebration! They got married the day before in the Temple in Baltimore, VA and then had their celebration with family and friends on Saturday at Murray Hill Events in Leesburg, Virginia.

This venue is amazing! You would never know you were in the middle of Northern Virginia as you pull into the driveway of the estate. The house overlooks the Potomac River, and everything is surrounded in the most gorgeous greenery and just perfectly tucked away in the trees! The open-air barn has a touch of elegance mixed in with the rustic- it was perfect as Johnny & Ashton dined and celebrated with their friends and family members!

Everything had a much more laid-back feel to it for Johnny & Ashton's wedding day. Because they were already married, we got to mix up the timeline a little and do Bride and Groom portraits first, then wedding party, and family last, before heading over their reception site for dinner and dancing!

Thank you to the vendors that made this day so special!

Trivium Estate Wedding || Lynchburg, VA Wedding || Ryan & Andrea

Oh these fall wedding days are so beautiful! The weather for Ryan & Andrea's Trivium Estate Wedding could not have been more perfect! It truly was the most gorgeous day- their ceremony overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains with the sunshine and the leaves starting to turn!

Ryan & Andrea were so sweet & so excited to be getting married! They did a no peek around the corner that was so sweet and you could just tell how much they really wanted to turn around and see each other, but the moment when Ryan saw her walk down the aisle was so worth it!

Autumn Trivium Estate Wedding || Bradford & Lauren

This Trivium Estate wedding was seriously perfect! I love Fall weddings- the light, the weather- it's all We left the night saying to each other how nothing seemed to go wrong the entire day! But that's not surprising to me considering all the amazing vendors set into place with the all-inclusive package that Lauren & Bradford booked with The Trivium Estate!

The morning started with Lauren & her best friends in the bridal suite getting ready together and laughing together! And their ceremony was so beautiful! They chose to get married down at the gazebo overlooking the pond and the trees starting to turn! So gorgeous!! During their ceremony, they chose to plant a tree together- each providing dirt from their childhood homes. How precious is this?! I've never seen this as part of the ceremony, but I loved it!

These two are both pharmacists and their chemistry was mentioned in their ceremony and the maid of honor reception speeches & you can see it when you watch them together! Smiling and Laughing all day! The best!! Their reception was a blast! The band did such an excellent job getting everyone up and on the dance floor the entire night!! A good band is so much fun at a wedding!

Tips of stress-free wedding planning || Central Virginia Wedding Photographer

Oh the pressure I felt when wedding planning. How could you not feel the pressure?! You are constantly told that this is the happiest and biggest day of your life! Friend, I've so been there. And to top it off had to plan a wedding on a super tiny budget, without the help of Pinterest.  One of my passions in my business is helping couples lessen the stress and be able to be fully present in their big moments!

As someone that goes to weddings almost every weekend, and has planned a wedding myself, I put together some tips to remember as you're planning your wedding day:

Central Virginia Wedding Photographer || Tips for a stress free wedding planning || Ashley Eiban Photography || www.ashleyeiban.com

1- Prepare your budget.  Doing some research on what things are going to cost will save you a lot of heartache. Sit down with your fiancee' and discuss, what's the most important things to you, will help you decide where you need to splurge, and where you can cut back. For example, you can put less money towards a wedding cake, and more towards your flowers.  Do some research on what things cost, so you're prepared on how to divi up and divide your money. Ask friends that have been through it.  Being prepared will help save you some heart break- if you are expecting to pay $400 for a videographer, it will break your heart to find out that isn't realistic.

2- Be ready for lots and lots of opinions. Oh girl, there will be SO many opinions, from friends, family members, and even strangers. There was a time where all weddings were suuuuper traditional, every bride walked down the aisle to the same song, all of the centerpiece tables had the same floral arrangements. Some people still don't understand that there's been a shift to planning a wedding that reflects YOU as a couple.  You're never going to make everyone happy- just remember- this is your day- do what you love!

3- Follow your heart. Be sure to not let the opinions of others change what you want to do. Every single couple has different priorities and visions on their wedding. Some people really do want a traditional wedding, in a ballgown, walking down the church aisle to their groom. While some people want to just have a small, outdoor wedding with just their closest friends and family.  If you want to have a first look, don't let your parents talk you out of it. I know I personally let other people talk me into things, and those moments are really the only regrets I have from my own wedding.

4- Only hire vendors that you 100% trust. You're wedding day is going to be busy, and you are going to want to be in the moment and enjoying the day with your friends, family, and your new HUSBAND! If you're having to worry about a vendor, do not hire that vendor. You're vendors should be making your life easier, and your wedding day BETTER. Not more stressful.

5- Remember, at the end of the day, you're going to be MARRIED! Things go wrong, problems come up. Just remember to breath, and remember and enjoy the day. Even if something goes wrong, You are getting married, and this is about your marriage- your life together, way more than it is your wedding day.

Oh sweet bride, I hope that this helps you. I know this time can be so stressful, but hopefully you're able to enjoy this exciting time together!
