Brian & Emily’s Wedding was such a stunning day! I LOVE shooting at Melrose Caverns- there’s a gorgeous farmhouse to get ready in, beautiful open fields, the stone work, everything is gorgeous!

Emily started by getting ready with her best friend, Mom and Mother-in-Law to be. The sweetest moments between her Mom had us all in tears! Because the fear of rain coming all day, we worked SO fast, and then lucked out because it never started raining… so we got lots and lots of portraits! Their ceremony was so sweet and overlooked the beautiful stone historical building! Right into their reception, which was so much fun! Their guests had the best time celebrating together!

I just love these two so much- they are so sweet and so much fun! Congrats you two! Hope you’re having the best time on your honeymoon!!

Happy New Year! A look over 2019! || Lynchburg Wedding & Portrait Photographer

Happy New Year Friends!

If you’re starting out this new year with me, know that I am just so thankful!

2019 was overall a great year for us in the Eiban house! I took a few steps back from my photography business to be able to focus on a growing baby, who is now a full fledged toddler, and our daughter who is practically a teenager now at 8! ;) I will never understand how fast the years fly and how much they grow in a year!!

To think we’re at the end of a decade and how much our lives have truly changed in the last 10 years! We have bought a house, shot my first wedding, had our first baby girl, changed jobs, renovated a house, started preschool, changed jobs again, found our favorite beach location, sold a house, bought a new house, gone full time with my photography business, started & completed kindergarten, joined a swim team, had a baby boy, made some amazing friends that have turned into family, traveled, grown, and so much more! It’s so fun, and crazy, to look back over the last 10 years and see where we are now. I am just so thankful for where life has gone!

As an enneagram 1, you know I’m always a fan of the New Year. I love the Fresh Start- the brand new planner pages, goals, and the motivation and organization that January brings with it! (As I’m typing this, I’m also writing out a list on how to organize the kids toys better! ha!)

I usually think through a “word for the year” but haven’t this year, and I’m going to give myself some grace this year, with the craziness of the holidays, burn out being SO real, and balancing family and work and house and friends- you get it! But, I want to know, do you have a word for this year? What are your main goals for this year?!

Wintergreen Resort Wedding || Central Virginia Wedding Photographer

You guys. There's the most amazing piece of heaven just about an hour from Lynchburg out at the Wintergreen Resort! Driving up the mountain, there's the perfect space for a ceremony at the Devils Knob overlook. Talk about a view!!! 

Anthony & Ryan are one of those couples that automatically makes each other smile, laugh, and have a blast.  Easiest clients ever! Anthony & Ryan have been friends since they met, as students at Virginia Tech. These die-hard hokies were so excited and surprised to find out that her Mom secretly planned for the VT Hokie bird to make an appearance at their wedding! Everyone at the reception was so excited and had a blast dancing around with him through the night!

John & Victoria's backyard wedding || Lynchburg Wedding Photographer

THIS COUPLE! I had the best time at this gorgeous wedding! I shot Victoria's cousin's wedding in February, so it was like a mini-family reunion seeing everyone again!  John & Victoria decided to get married at a family member's home- it's seriously such a gorgeous spot and was the perfect backdrop for their wedding! They were both super laid back, and didn't stress about the pop-up thunderstorms at all! We took some photos out of the front porch, in the garage, and even some in the rain! They are a true testament that some rain does not have to ruin your wedding day! 

These two are just SO in love and it totally shows! They are the best poses, constantly changing up their facial expressions, snuggling up, and interacting with each other! They seriously made my job SO easy and choosing photos for their blog post was SO DIFFICULT!!

Coleton & Elizabeth's Wedding Day: Trivium Estate Wedding

It is such a special honor to be chosen to photograph someones wedding.  It's something that I never ever want to take lightly.  I have the privilege of being a part of these giant moments in peoples lives, and I invest so much of myself emotionally into my couples.  I get to be behind the scenes, help them throughout the day, see how much their friends and family love on them, and be a part of their private moments that prove how important love and marriage is. I am so beyond thankful that Coleton & Elizabeth chose me to photograph their wedding.  They are the cutest couple ever- you can see their love and their joy just radiating from them!  It was the greatest feeling seeing her walk down the aisle with her Dad, wear her grandma's special earrings, laugh with Coleton through the evening, and celebrate with her friends and family! 

The Trivium Estate was THE perfect backdrop for their gorgeous wedding!! It really was the perfect day in April and everything was so beautiful! I am so excited to be sharing images from their wedding day!!
