Lynchburg, Virginia Wedding Photographer: Hailey's Bridal Portraits

I looooooooove doing Bridal Portrait Sessions! It is SO much fun getting the Bride all dressed up- without the pressure of the wedding day timeline and the hustle and bustle of friends & family & wedding guests! Plus- who doesn't want another day to wear their beautiful wedding gown! You pay so much money for THE perfect dress, wear it again! Plus, most of my brides end up changing something- it could be as simple as earrings, or lip color- or even as big as changing their hair style! 

Hailey and I got together a few weeks ago for her Bridal Portraits out at the beautiful Trivium Estates in Forest, Virginia! I've been so excited to share these images with you guys! Bailey is so beautiful and makes such a stunning Bride!! And this session is a PERFECT example of how we can still make it work- even in the rain! As soon as we walked outside it started POURING- so we got some photos inside, and on the porch at the Trivium.  The rain cleared just in time for sunset- and we got these AMAZING glowy photos as well!

Greensboro, NC Wedding Photographer: Jared & Tyler Gail

Sometimes, this job has the craziest outcomes... like you get hired to second shoot for a wedding in Greensboro, North Carolina- 2 hours from home- and show up to find out the groom is the little brother of some of your best friends from high school! 

I had such a great time second shooting for  SMM Photography, based out of Charleston, SC  for Jared & Tyler Gail's Wedding Day! They had such a beautiful, southern, and classy ceremony at the First Baptist Church of Greensboro! Their reception was at a beautiful barn venue called the Steele Crest, just outside of Greensboro! I loved this relaxed venue! 

Working with Stefanie was so much fun- so glad I was able to make the short trip and travel down for this stunning wedding!!

Aaron & Lauren

So excited to share these photos from Aaron & Lauren's engagement session! We headed out to Sierra Vista for these photos and had such a great time! Lauren brought along her beautiful daughter, Gianna- who served as my personal model... and assistant! Loved every moment of their engagement session and I am so excited for their wedding day- and lucky me... Lauren is getting Bridal Portraits done so I get to see her in her gorgeous gown before everyone else!! (ps- can you tell I LOVE Bridal Portraits!?! Aaron, Lauren & Michael used to work together a few years ago, and it's been so fun getting to know them better through their engagements and our dinners together.  We love engagement sessions so we can really get to know the couple and feel so comfortable on the wedding day! Dempsey Family: Lynchburg, Virginia Family Photographer

It's spring-time in Lynchburg, Virginia! Yay! I love this time of year, even if it brings with it evil pollen and allergies.  But, I love any time of the year...except for winter! I really think we just need to move to Florida! ;) Ha Michael loves cold weather waaaaay too much to ever let that happen! 

We are thoroughly enjoying the spring season out here in Lynchburg- the beautiful light, the longer days, and the gorgeous blooms! Love it! AND will you look at how adorable this sweet family is? I am so excited for them as they have a precious baby girl coming soon!!

Julie & Phillip Wedding Day: A Lynchburg, Virginia Wedding Photographer

Oh I am so excited to share these images from Julie & Phillips wedding day! They had a beautiful wedding ceremony out at the stunning Sierra Vista in Bedford, Virginia! 

It's no secret that Phillip isn't the biggest fan of photos... but after our engagement session, I think it's safe to say he wasn't dreading the photos of the wedding day! ;) We had so much fun together and Sierra Vista makes for the most stunning backdrop!
