Barrett & Isabelle's wedding was gorgeous! They got married at their childhood home nestled in Lynchburg, Virginia with THE most amazing views of the city that you've ever seen! 

One of the things that Isabelle loves most about Barrett is that he can always make her laugh- and goodness could you tell on their wedding day.  They were both so happy and carefree, it was such a blast!

We went to get a Christmas Tree, and Brought Home...

I was totally expecting to be posting about our trip to the Christmas Tree lot, where we pick out a tree and bring it home to decorate. And, I'm sure that blog post will be coming soon, but not today.  Because we left for a Christmas Tree and ended up bringing home... a puppy instead! Ha! 

Meet... MANNING! (#manningthemutt) 

On our way to the Christmas Tree Lot, we decided to stop in at the Lynchburg Humane Society to love on the cats & dogs there.  That's where we met our sweetest new little guy and couldn't leave him there overnight! So, we brought him home that night! 

He's a mutt and a giant mix... mostly a lot of guesses on our side of things, but nothing is really known! Manning has been a great pup so far- crate trained, so good with Emmie, and full of snuggles!! 

And because Em was so excited about her Christmas outfit she talked Michael into... here are a few photos before we got Manning! 

We are so excited about our new puppy.. .and hopefully one of these days we will actually get our Christmas Tree... and I'll be sharing some photos from that too! ;)

Goooooodness- I am seriously obsessed with this Fall! This warm weather has been amazing! I am seriously going to be do depressed when it starts getting cold! This Fall has brought the most amazing warm days, awesome color, goooooorgeous sunlight- and did I mention the warm days?!?

Winchester, VA Photographer: Dave & Rachael's Maternity Session

I cannot think of a higher honor than having a former bride ask me to do her maternity photos!! I was so ecstatic when I found out that Rachael was pregnant, and even more so when she asked me to take her maternity photos!! Then, her sister contacted me and offered to pay for her session as her baby shower present! Best sister ever, huh!?! 

It worked out perfectly- I was in Winchester for a wedding, and since Rachael is currently living in the DC area, she met me there! Her Uncle lives out in that area, and knew the perfect little mill area- it was such an amazing location, and the awesome Fall colors just made it magical! <3 Plus, Dave & Rachael just have so much fun together, and we laughed our way through the ENTIRE session!! 

Dave & Rach- it was SO awesome to see you guys again and catch up! I am so unbelievably excited for you guys and cannot wait to snuggle that sweet baby boy!!! Thank you so much for the honor of capturing your most important memories in life!! Let's please get together again SOON!!

Aaron & Lauren

So excited to share these photos from Aaron & Lauren's engagement session! We headed out to Sierra Vista for these photos and had such a great time! Lauren brought along her beautiful daughter, Gianna- who served as my personal model... and assistant! Loved every moment of their engagement session and I am so excited for their wedding day- and lucky me... Lauren is getting Bridal Portraits done so I get to see her in her gorgeous gown before everyone else!! (ps- can you tell I LOVE Bridal Portraits!?! Aaron, Lauren & Michael used to work together a few years ago, and it's been so fun getting to know them better through their engagements and our dinners together.  We love engagement sessions so we can really get to know the couple and feel so comfortable on the wedding day!
