Happy Halloween from our Little Mermaid!

We had such a fun weekend- starting with the Fall Festival that Emmie's school puts on! This is always such a blast- and is a really great excuse for the kids to wear their costumes another time! ;) They set up all these fun different stations, have pony rides, face painting, games, snacks, etc! 

Then we went to a friends house and went trick-or-treating! Emmie LOVED it! And pretty much ate her weight in chocolate and lollipops- and still has an entire basket! 

Emmie was SO excited about going to Kaitlyn's house- and she asked from the moment we woke up, through lunchtime and of course, the entire ride in the car to their house. The kids ran to each house and were SO stinkin cute being so excited about all of their candy and costumes!!

Winchester, VA Photographer: Dave & Rachael's Maternity Session

I cannot think of a higher honor than having a former bride ask me to do her maternity photos!! I was so ecstatic when I found out that Rachael was pregnant, and even more so when she asked me to take her maternity photos!! Then, her sister contacted me and offered to pay for her session as her baby shower present! Best sister ever, huh!?! 

It worked out perfectly- I was in Winchester for a wedding, and since Rachael is currently living in the DC area, she met me there! Her Uncle lives out in that area, and knew the perfect little mill area- it was such an amazing location, and the awesome Fall colors just made it magical! <3 Plus, Dave & Rachael just have so much fun together, and we laughed our way through the ENTIRE session!! 

Dave & Rach- it was SO awesome to see you guys again and catch up! I am so unbelievably excited for you guys and cannot wait to snuggle that sweet baby boy!!! Thank you so much for the honor of capturing your most important memories in life!! Let's please get together again SOON!!

The craziness that is October! Lynchburg, Virginia Wedding & Portrait Photographer

Phew guys- what an exhausting month it has been! Exhausting but oh my goodness so much fun! This month alone I have traveled to: Charleston- South Carolina,  The Wintergreen Resort in Virginia,  Hartford/Wethersfield in Connecticut, Forest/Bedford County in Virginia, Winchester, in Virginia, and back to Lynchburg.

Kevin & Brittany: Sierra Vista Engagement || Lynchburg, VA Wedding & Portrait Photographer

Oh this time of year! It's a CRAZY time in the world of a photographer! I've been to Charleston, Winchester, Connecticut, Lynchburg, Wintergreen, Forest, and Front Royal all in the last few weeks! It's been SO much fun- I love the colorful backdrops all around- and Kevin & Brittany's engagement session was SO beautiful! 

It was such a fantastic day- the weather was absolutely GORGEOUS! It was the best time! Kevin & Brittany are so cute together- and I am SO excited for their wedding at Sierra Vista this upcoming April! Praying already for nice, warm spring weather!!
